Information for customers from the EU

The Czech Republic has been a member of the European Union since 1st May 2004. There are some specifics resulting from this fact for customers from the EU. Please read carefully the information below.

VAT Handling

The Value Added Tax (VAT, MWSt, ...) must be handled according the EU regulations. Customers who purchase products directly from us must inform us whether they have their VAT number or not. If yes (e.g. the customer is a company), we will invoice them without VAT (the VAT is handled by customer's domestic financial authorities). If they do not have VAT number (e.g. home user) we will have to add the Czech VAT (20%) to the invoice. This is valid for all EU countries regardless the country is in the "eurozone" (i.e. uses the Euro currency) or not.

You can verify the validity of a VAT number issued by any Member State by the on-line VIES VAT number validation service.

Shipping Cost

Shipping via post mail to EU countries is for a flat fee or even free. No customs declaration procedures are required.

Shipping costs via post mail are:

• € 10 for orders under € 300
• FREE for orders with amount € 300 and more

Product Prices

We decided to set the Euro as a primary currency for our products. We can invoice you in other currencies - e.g. US$, the resulting price will depend on current € to US$ exchange rate. Exchange rates for various currencies are available on-line for example on x-rates.com website.
